Electric Lift Recliners
Our electric lift recliners, such as the ASPIRE IDAHO Dual Action Dual Motor and the Comfort Care Cloud 2 Motor Power Lift Recliner, feature dual-motor reclining and lift functions that support safe transitions between sitting and standing. Designed for NDIS participants or elderly residents with mobility challenges, these chairs help reduce carer strain while encouraging independence.
Adjustable Commodes
The Comfort Care Deluxe Folding Commode and ASPIRE Classic Bedside Commode are examples of hybrid commode chairs that offer a flexible option for both bedside and bathroom safety. They provide users with varying needs with flexibility and convenience because of their detachable basins and height-adjustable features.
Bariatric Seating
Heavy-duty recliners and commodes like the ASPIRE Adjustable High Back Day Chair MAXI BARIATRIC and the ASPIRE Shower Chair MAXI Adjustable Bariatric (575-775mm) can hold up to 270 kg. These models include robust frames paired with pressure-relieving cushions for long-lasting durability and comfort.
Therapeutic Beds
For complete mobility solution support, pair our seating collection with NDIS-supported adjustable beds like the Dreame Lo Lo Electric Adjustable Bed or the Daydream Air & PU Mattresses. These beds offer height-adjustable bases and pressure-care mattresses to provide superior comfort and support.
Navigating HCP, CSSP and NDIS Funding for Recliner Chairs
NDIS Funding
-
Self-Managed: Fill out our online contact form and request an invoice to include with your plan.
-
Plan-Managed: Download and send our Biller Authorisation Form to your plan manager.
-
Agency/Provider-Managed: Sign the Service Agreement, and we’ll handle submitting claims directly to the NDIS.
Home Care Package (HCP) Funding
Work with your approved Home Care Package provider to assess and coordinate the recliner chair purchase. Your provider will manage the funding process using your individualised package budget and must justify the purchase as meeting your assessed care needs. Recliner chairs fall under mobility support and assistive equipment within your care plan.
Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) Funding
Contact an approved CHSP assistive technology provider to arrange assessment and equipment provision. The recliner chair must be arranged through the CHSP assistive technology services rather than direct purchase. Multiple providers may be involved in coordinating your support needs.
From November 2025, HCP recipients transitioning to the new Support at Home program will access recliner chairs through the dedicated Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM) scheme with separate funding tiers rather than using regular care budgets.
Our friendly team is available to guide you through which products best meet your plan goals for safety, effectiveness, and value.
