The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre

Based Footscray, Melbourne, The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is Australia's largest human rights organisation providing support to people seeking asylum, their programs support and empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social wellbeing. In support of their cause, in June of 2022, AusMed Health donated 10,000 face masks to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

From the ASRC

'Dear Paul, Frank and Vedran,

THANK YOU all so much - for the masks and for facilitating this amazing donation to the ASRC!

On behalf of refugees and people seeking asylum here at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, thank you and all the team at AusMed Health so much for this very generous donation of 10,000 masks!

They are already in circulation in both the Footscray and Dandenong Centres - as part of our Community Foodbank Centres, as part of our grocery delivery service and they are also available to people waiting for appointments in the Centres. We are all deeply grateful for such a practical donation - masks are expensive and this donation allows us to spend more money on food, toiletries and other necessities.

The fact that your masks are Australian-made, produced with high quality materials and with environmental and social responsibility in mind, supports our own principles and values.'
